H10 Mediterranean Village, Salou - Cambrils

Stayed in an apartment for a week. Spacious, nice balcony, clean, good facilties and free safe. Staff in hotel couldn't do enough for you. All staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Food and drink superb. Estrella on tap for 3 euros 60 is. Cocktails spot on. Pleasantly surprised by food. Mostly delicious, odd bit is cold or dry as served buffet style and kept warm under hot lights. Hotel uses a wristband for drinks or card, no cash which was actually better, top up your wrist band and when you buy a drink it tells you your credit left. Pizza restaurant and shop on site can use wristband for too. Beach nearby only small but sea warm as its a cove. Not a lot in cap salou but bus to salou is 10mins or walk in 20. Lots of fun for the kids, 2 kids themed pools with a pirate shop slide on one and anothet pool for adults. Only criticism our baby wasn't allowed in the pool in an inflatable rubber ring, these are banned. Our older child wasnt allowed a ball in the kids pool either. Also the entertainment could be better. Kids club finishes 8ish and it's the same every night then there is nothing till 9. Evening entertainment is good but bit of a lull in that hour after kids finishes, should at least play music. That is the only minor criticism though. Would suggest they have a door bolt higher up on apartment door too as toddlers can easy reach and open room door. Very happy, great holiday and hotel exceeded expectations. Thanks for our stay.

3 of us: myself husband and teenage so arrived 12pm. There was a room to leave luggage which was helpful to allow us to explore. Access to room 3pm not even 1 min before. Lots of people waiting around. Walking into to room I was disappointed, the room was really small and dark. Somehow I thought all were apartments. enquired at reception it was explained these are prioritised for groups 4 plus. Room was situated toward back of hotel which was shaded most of the day (later discovered this was best for us as pool facing room has music and entertainment noise all day until at least 11pm). The room was spotlessly clean. After drawing back the curtains the room seemed a little better and holidays are what you make it. 3 beds in room all had varying firmness. one was hard and uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise from rooms around however we were fortunate after 11pm it would quieten down and we had 10 nights of great sleep(might not be the case if neighbours are not considerate) .We were half board breakfast was OK dinner: my husband always found something he enjoyed especially the sweet treat section!!! My son is fussy by day 4 he was not enjoying any of the food on offer .I am vegetarian found there was not a lot of selection and what was there was a little bland. Places nearby that sold nicer food. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, others could try more. Rooms were cleaned well on days we requested. We didn't go to the entertainment. .The bus stop/ticket shop right outside hotel we went to Salou, Portaventura Cambrils and Barcelona. Also the beaches coves and costal walk to Salou was fab. We had a great holiday, The hotel for us was an ideal base to explore

Absolutely amazing hotel , could not of asked for more , lovely & clean , big airy room with a balcony , we were half board - so much lovely food to choose from , great facilities, the swimming pools are lovely, lots of loungers , nice little gym, great entertainment, lots of local attractions & the staff are fantastic! Will visit again soon& would highly recommend for couples / friends / families

What an amazing holiday the hotel was of excellent standards and the resort was lovely. Special mention to Sebastion our bar waiter for the excellent service Cap Salou is beautiful a little hilly but you get used to it beautiful coves and beaches with beautiful La Pinaeda only a 20/25 min stroll away and the main town of Salou a 10 min bus ride. Be sure to get the multi person bus pass can’t remember what’s it’s called but 10 journeys for €10 then only €6.5 for a top up of 10 more trips Would 100% return
