H10 London Waterloo, London

My daughter and I recently stayed for 9 nights and it was perfect! We were greeted with champagne upon check-in and the hospitality continued through-out our stay. The room was lovely, a little smaller than we are used to but it had everything we needed and very comfortable beds, wonderful towels! Breakfast was amazing and even being there 9 days, there was so much to choose from that we did not get bored. Felipe, the host at breakfast, made it even more enjoyable and we felt like old friends by the end of our stay. We had a drink at the bar one night and the bartender recommended fun places in the neighborhood that we would never have found as tourists. I would love to give him a shout out by name but do not recall. He was a grad student from India studying in London. We found the location of the hotel perfect. A bit out of the crowds but an easy 20 minute walk to Borough Market and other sites. When we didn't walk we opted to take the bus rather than underground as it stopped close to the hotel and we were able to get anywhere easily and see the area along the way. It was so nice to come back at the end of each busy day to the beautiful festive decorations of the lobby and seating area. We can't wait to stay again!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful when needed. Our room, although smaller than expected had everything we could need and our bed was really comfortable. The roof top bar was lovely to enjoy a drink whilst taking in the view. Our breakfast was plentiful but could have been warmer and even though we were on floor 8 we did experience a fair amount of noise. An ambulance depot down the street had regular sirens going past which cant be helped but there was also work being carried out that meant regular drilling and banging noises throughout the day which wasnt good when I experienced a migraine on our first day. I didnt complain about this at the time to my regret. Also quite disappointed that although we had paid for a city view room, this amounted to a small window with very limited views. The location was ok with approximately 10 minute walk to the nearest tube but not as nice as some of the other locations I have stayed in at London before.

My second visit & loved it just as much as the first. A very attractive entrance/reception/lounge area with comfortable settees/chairs, a fireplace & library. Also, individual little bowls of nuts/sweets. A really friendly and warm welcome from all reception staff who offered us a complimentary drink. Easy & quick check in and we were also given a voucher for a drink at the Sky Bar. I recommend requesting a corner room, ours was a Deluxe, lovely large windows, very airy and bright. The room and bathroom absolutely spotless with dressing gown, slippers and really nice shower gels etc. Super comfortable beds. There was complimentary bottles of water and mini bar was incredibly good value. Love, love , love the Sky Bar, amazing views at sunset with lovely outdoor furniture. Again the staff were so friendly, quick service on drinks and one waiter (sorry cant remember his name) was great pointing out different landmarks to us. We werent able to stay & try the tapas (fussy children wanting MacDonalds - a dreadful shame in comparison to how lovely the menu sounded!) The breakfast was beyond amazing, endless choice, anything you could wish for was there (sorry about how much Nutella the kids got through) & the hot food beautifully cooked. Again, all the staff so friendly & helpful & the dining room is really airy & attractive. Location perfect, nice little walk to Waterloo station or to the River/Eye etc. A big thank you to all.

Nice hotel close to Waterloo station. About a 10 walk. This is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel and really like it. But this time there were issues with the bathroom that had handles that were falling out (door and towel). I told the receptionist they should fix it for the next guest. Breakfast is great. I would definitely recommend it.
