H10 Lanzarote Princess

This hotel is superb. The location couldnt get any better. Cross the road to a beautiful beach and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Thats if, of course, you need to leave the hotel. Usually, we are a family that needs to explore - but here, we have happily spent most of our time in the hotel. The entertainment team have truly made the stay. HUGE thanks to Noelia, Yraya, Cris, Mario, Ruben and Sergio. They are the perfect mix of fun, caring and just all-round amazing people. They are truly fantastic with the kids, naturally funny, caring and are the best entertainment team we have ever met (weve had our fair share of holidays!). Day time activities are fun and varied. Not just your average activities but also drumming lessons, sip and paint sessions, and more. A huge whole hearted thank you to these amazing people. Back to the hotel. The food is absolutely splendid. Again, the best we have found at an AI hotel. The buffet is varied, but also to a very decent standard. It is replenished quickly, hot and very well cooked. Again, staff are phenomenal and friendly. Meal times cannot be faulted. You should not be disappointed. There is always a live cooking station. Morning, they cook a variety of egg dishes and at lunch and dinner, a variety of meat / fish. There is also Mikes Coffee shop which has a brilliant menu of hot and cold drinks. As well as a fridge filled with yummy cakes - if you are privilege you can have any cake and all drinks. If you are AI you get cake of the day and a selection of drinks. The Cactus pool bar also has the most brilliant snack bar menu, all included in AI. From pizzas, nachos, sandwiches and more. We were half board and found prices to be reasonable. A small gripe would be that the standards within the rooms arent perfect. Renovation jobs have been a little half hearted. For the older rooms, theyre a little scruffy and a bit grubby in the bathrooms where floor tile grout is pretty grim and the baths are scuffed and appear dirty. But this is soon gotten over as standards outside the rooms are fab. It wouldnt stop me returning but Id want a newer room. The rooms are spacious. Pool view rooms are much better, in our opinion. They are very sound proof except if youre on a lower floor near the entertainment- ask for a room further away if this will bother you. We had an issue with our first room and it was soon rectified with a lot of care and effort. Beds are super comfy and the housekeeping team are friendly and do a brilliant job. Bring an extension cable. We had no plugs near any mirrors except for the bathroom! The pools are brilliant. The weather wasnt scorching whilst we were here but ALL pools are more than an acceptable temperature! Especially the kids pool. Again, the warmest weve found from many hotels. The kids slide in the pirate ship is awesome and great fun. The undercover pool is very warm and would be great for the colder months. Drinking water machines are located at all bars so drinking water isnt a worry. Reception also have juice, sweets and peanuts on display to help yourself to all day. The small touches make a difference. Evening shows are amazing here! Every night you have a mini disco for the kids - again - fantastic standard. Followed by sometimes a short music quiz etc. Then a brilliant variety of shows which is usually a brilliant standard of Magic, Circus, Flamenco, Acrobatics. It never gets too busy there as most guests choose to also enjoy the bar area that has a fab atmosphere and live singers. This hotel has got it just right. Phenomenal! We cant wait to return. Dont hesitate to book! A real gem.

Stayed at the Lanzarote Princess in April on our first time in Lanzarote. Hotel was great with lots of space around the pool areas, we had room 2067 which partly overlooked the pool area which made it nice to sit on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Our room was lovely and clean and a good size for the 3 of us. We found the food very nice with a decent selection for breakfast and lunch with most things getting filled up in good time when running out. We were half board but swapped out evening meal for lunch as there are lots of great restaurants within a ten minute walk of the hotel or a 20 minute ish stroll down the promenade to Rubicon Marina again with great restaurants and a weekly market which we enjoyed walking around. All the staff were great, very helpful and polite and our 7 year old daughter enjoyed going to the kids club each morning for an hour of activities and games. It was nice to have free water available from the Cactus and Pool bars to not have to worry about buying bottles all day long. The wrist bands you get on arrival are used to pay for drinks and snacks etc depending on your level of board but you can settle this daily at reception and they always show you an itemized bill before you pay as well which I preferred so I didn't get a big bill shock at the end of the week. We would definitely return here again if we come back to Playa Blanca which we hope to do next year as there is much more of this beautiful island to explore!

Still here having a lovely holiday……. Start with the positives as I was uncertain after reading the bad reviews. Hotel nice, clean pool area, lobby, bars etc. Pool suitable for family’s with a kids area, plenty of sun beds, drinks bar, ground generally kept clean and tidy. Staff continually working keeping it clean. Our family room was lovely on the quiet side of hotel. Maid service each day was to a high standard. Kids entertainment good and staff brilliant with the children. All staff were friendly and helpful, they work very hard at looking after the guest. Drink selection good, plenty to choose from. Good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. It is limited to some point but what is on offer is fresh and tasty. The salads are very nice. Oh the coffee shop does gorgeous drinks for adults and kids. The Italian is very good for food, we didn’t eat in the Japanese but heard it was good. The not so good points……. The staff are limited which means at meal times some food wasn’t stocked up as quickly as it should have been, tables weren’t cleared quick enough for the amount of guests which meant sitting outside wasn’t much of an option due to tables not being cleared. Having to que for the fresh grill area was a pain, but worth it. This is nothing to do with the staff as they are excellent they just need more staff! The restaurant can be hectic at busy times, we chose to eat at the quieter times so not a problem. They need more parasols as it is a family hotel so they need to provide shade for the families with young kids. Table service should really be offered for the outside entertainment area, would give an extra touch. The cactus bar only has one person serving which makes it slow, it also gets messy in there from other guests not being able to tidy up after themselves! Again no fault of the lovely staff. Don’t reserve your sun beds, we did each day so we had good shade for the kids, we returned after breakfast to find our stuff has been taken away. You then have to do the walk of shame to collect your bag with belongings inside. It was funny, they do say not to reserve your beds! ?? If you want a chilled typical family holiday suitable for all then you can’t go wrong with this hotel. Some reviews are a bit harsh. The location is fab with bars and restaurants and supermarkets a 5 minute walk away. The marina is lovely for food and a walk. I personally wouldn’t do All Inclusive again in Lanzarote. It’s not expensive to eat out and the quality of the restaurants is very good. Thank you to the hotel and staff for a lovely holiday in the sun, but please see the negative points as a way to improve on the little things that matter.

Just got back from a week half board with 2 x adults 2 x kids. Overall hotel was fine, typical holiday hotel for kids. You read some of the reviews and its laughable. if you want my 5 star treatment, go to Dubai and pay for for it. You wont go fare wrong with this hotel...…Yes its getting a bit tired and can improve in areas but overall its fine. Firstly if you want to upgrade to all inclusive you can this at reception, cost about £17 a day for kids and £37 a day for adults but you cant do it for the odd day, has to be for the rest of of your holiday once you start it. Staff are mostly fine but it does feel that they need more staff in busier times. You get water and orange juice at breakfast but nothing for lunch or dinner, everything is chargeable. Also the hotel make you take this blue card and bit of paper to lunch or dinner. This is so old school - hotel need to get rid of this for a more modern system. They charged you roughly £1 to change a towel which I find very odd, surly this should be free? If you exit the rear of the hotel there is a supermarket and if you go further down and turn right, there are loads of restaurants to eat at, 100% recommend doing that rather than eating at the hotel everyday, prices are pretty good as well. Don't have any rooms tips, pretty much all the same wherever you are? Everywhere takes card and cash, Outside of the hotel a beer is roughly £2.90 a pint (did see it somewhere at £1.40 in happy hour), Any Vodka / Gin and mixer is roughly £5.5 - £6 but they are always minimum doubles. Bottle of wine is roughly £15- £25 depending on what you want. Sunbeds aren't a problem, loads of them about and always some available somewhere. What I would say is that they 100% need more parasols, simply not enough for the amount of bed and hot weather. Pool area is fine but hate the pool liner, cant beat a tiled pool lol. Can see why they have done it but personally I don't like it. Hotel is roughly 40 mins from the airport. Beach is lovely! (4 min walk from hotel) Bring a snorkel! Roughly £3 a day per sunbed and roughly £3 a day for a parasol. Bring towel clips as the whole place is very windy, A good windy though, as it gives you some relief rom the heat. Enjoy!
