H10 Casanova, Barcelona

We upgraded to the superior room. The room was very clean, quiet and spacious with comfortable beds. The staff was excellent. I picked the hotel due to being centrally located and walkable to many attractions we wanted to see. We felt very safe in the hotel and the surrounding area it was located in.

We had the opportunity to stay again for 1 night only and so glad we did. We arrived after 12 noon and it was great to be remembered from our stay last Dec as Grand Class members by the ever so lovely lady on reception (so sorry I missed your name). Our room wasn't quite ready and as we were only there until the next day we wanted to get out as quick as possible. Instead of going out first and not getting into our room until late evening, we were advised to take a seat in the bar whilst housekeeping cleaned our room. Being presented with a cocktail drink voucher we had a drink in the stunning Ona Lounge bar. Stayed during the refurbishment last year so it was great to finally see the Ona Lounge finished. 45 mins later we got to our Deluxe Suite and it was just as lovely as the last visit. Ideal amount of space for 2 people and the level of detail was what you'd expect from their top tier room. Much later that evening, we asked reception for recommendations for dinner and the level of service offered was exceptional. Out of the 4 options we were advised to try Arroceria Crosmas tapas. They called and booked a table for us. So glad we tried it and will be eating there again for sure. That night had the best night's sleep. Bed was pure comfort. Next day breakfast was just as good, plenty of choice. Food was hot. Service was great and just a shame I didn't go back for a 3rd plate of food. Anyway, we had to check out and have our luggage stored until we got back from the Montjuic cable car and a bit of clothes shopping. Zara and Mango is a must when we travel as its way cheaper than in the UK, reason for the spare bag we take. Will we stay again? well our BA flight and room is already booked for 2025 as we are visiting 5 different H10 hotels also next year and already looking forward to visiting H10 Casano again. A very well located and good hotel. Deluxe rooms are large and very well insulated from traffic noise. Air conditioning worked well. Only minor complaint was a poorly fitting shower panel which would have leaked without a bit of minor DIY. Excellent buffet breakfast at 21 pp. We arrived off a cruise and were one of the lucky ones who were able to check in early. Others left their bags in storage. Couldnt quite give it 5* but it was close.

Great hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful and have very good english. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The rooftop bar is beautiful and if I have one complaint its thats its a bit pricey. Very central and highly recommend for an enjoyable stay.
