H10 Gran Tinerfe, Tenerife

We stopped for 7 nights in this Hotel on All Inclusive and really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a Balcony and overlooked the Main Entrance so we had sun all morning. It was very quiet at all times. The room was in good condition and kept tidy. The fridge was topped up daily with Water, Coke and Beer ( Part of the A I Deal). Kettle Mugs Tea Coffee and Milk also provided. We felt that to food choice, quality and temperature were very good at very meal we had, including the Italian Restaurant. There were always plenty of staff around and they were happy help people carry plates and advising on food allergies. We always found sunbeds and Umbrellas when we went to the pools, which was usually late morning. Plenty of day time and night time activities, with some of the music of a high standard. In the block opposite the Hotel, across from the Supermarket is a newly opened Laundrette, 6 Euros for 10 kgs of Washing and 2 Euro to dry ensured we came back with nearly all clean clothes! In the resort there seemed to lots on Mobility Scooters that had been hired by those, at first glance, didn't need them to get around. They were some what of a nuisance as they raced along the pavements. We have already booked to return in 2026

Just returned from another great stay at this lovely hotel. Great location for beach, bars, restaurants and shopping. All areas of the hotel are very clean. Buffet restaurant has good selection of food during breakfast and evening service. There are three A La Carte restaurants available on site. The Asensen food experience is amazing. The animation team are second to none and go above and beyond to ensure guests are made welcome. Good variety of activities during the day and varied evening entertainment. A wrist band needs to be loaded at start of stay and is used for all purchases in the hotel. I would suggest guests are alerted when the funds are running low. I would suggest guests have a summary of their purchases available either on the App/Account as receipt not always provided at bars. Looking forward to our next stay.

Over all a very good experience. The location is excellent, right on the beach situated at the older end of Costa Adeje where it meets Las Americas. The hotel was built in 1971 and has a 70's feel but has clearly been modernised. This is typical of the architecture in this specific area as it was probably the very start of the massive metropolis now known as Costa Adeje, which progresses into more modern building styles if you turn left out of the front of the hotel and just keep walking. The hotel itself is generally well kept and clean although there are a few signs of wear particularly in the room and some of the lower ground floor areas which head to the beach of the grounds around the hotel look as if they could do with a lift. The shower in room 322 is rubbish no pressure but we learnt to live with it and did not complain. However, the view out to see is stunning. We had a superior room with a few specific extras not to be confused with the privilege extras..? A hotel has attracted a clientele of mostly the retired sector, but this makes it very low-key with a relaxed vibe. The entertainment is very geared towards that age group but we had fun watching our senior guests thoroughly enjoying themselves on the dance floor throwing some shapes good for them we did get a little shock at how expensive the drinks are in the hotel if you are half board. You top up an account at reception or you can pay on card but just be careful you keep track of the account as a G&T and a Tia Maria and Coke was 20 which is British pub prices. We found a lovely cocktail bar just outside the hotel that served delicious cocktails for 7.50. I think the hotel have maybe shot themselves in the foot here as we stopped going to the entertainment in the hotel for the simple reason that we got stung with the price of the drinks. If H10 kept prices more reasonable more people would drink inside the hotel for sure. Be aware that they will even charge you for water. All the little goodies they put in your room, e.g. crisps, sweets a bottle of wine and anything in the mini bar if you are half board is chargeable and they will deduct this from your account. We couldn't fault the food the staff andthe restaurant service overall is excellent good choice something for everyone. Now for the biggie. On the evening we arrived we commented on the patio door set up when you open the door the curtains only open the opposite way punching up in the area that you walk through. This does not leave much gap to walk in and out of the room to access the balcony this caused an accident as I misjudged the gap and walked straight into the glass smashing my nose and cutting my lip which wasn't the start we had hoped for on our holiday blood everywhere it was horrendous. This really spoil my holiday as I spent the next 5 to 6 days in pain looking awful and healing up was made to the holiday as we were only here for a week so just a warning to other people just be very careful with those patio doors as I don't think I am the first person that this has happened to, On the hole are very enjoyable holiday with one or two little blips along the way.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, it keeps drawing us back! It has a fantastic position right on the front overlooking a beach and the sea. Lots of places to walk from the hotel along the front and in the other direction the bus station and Siam park Mall are a short walk away. Sunset views are amazing. Outside there are several pools and terraces with plenty sun beds and a pool bar. From the lovely reception area there is a fab chill out terrace with stunning views, open all day and evening. The food is very good and there are several restaurants to use depending on the board you have booked. One of the things that really makes this hotel a favourite is the staff, many have been at the hotel for several years. All are friendly and very helpful.
