Just returned from an excellent week at the H10 Playa. We checked in at 11am. We were told that the room would be ready from 3pm onwards. In fact we were in the room for 1pm which was excellent. The lobby was bright and welcoming. The bedroom had a bright modern feel with a walk in shower and 3 beds. The pool area was very spacious with lots of sunbeds. While we were there, at no stage were all the sun loungers taken, however, I would assume that, in the height of summer it may be a different matter. We were on a half board basis and were very happy with the food. There was always a very wide range of hot and cold food to cater for all tastes - we were certainly very well fed! The evening entertainment was very enjoyable. There was a children's mini disco from 9 to 9.30 (with Daisy) followed by the 'adult' entertainment from 9.30 - 11. This varied from night to night from an electric violinist to country rock as well as artists playing contemporary music. The animation team provided 'game shows' on 2 evenings. The animation team of Ali, Judit & Oscar all worked extremely hard. The drink was reasonably priced - and measures were excellent. Jenifer and Nodo at the bar were 1st class and the waiters Robert & Jose were fantastic. The hotel is situated 5 minutes bus ride from Cambrils or, in the opposite direct 10 minutes from Salou and a further 20 to Tarragona. Leaving the hotel by the 'side door' you needed to be careful opening the door as you walked straight in to the queue for the bus - that's how close the bus stop was! The bus service was excellent - every 15 minutes. You simply could not fault the location of the hotel. While on holiday I celebrated a birthday. A 'voucher' was left in our room for a free bottle of Cava which was a very nice touch. All in all an excellent holiday and looking forward to going back. Thank you H10 Cambrils Playa!!

Just returned, really nice hotel Good points Staff, friendly Food, good food, bit repetitive for breakfast, definitely should do fresh omelettes, a must for me, and just as easy as frying eggs in my opinion. Evening meal very nice, and the best ice cream ever. Rooms very clean, top tip, upgrade to a pool view, the other side of hotel the view is poor. Pool area is fantastic, clean, plenty of loungers ect, towels provided for a returnable deposit. Reception staff were faultless and efficient. Fantastic beach best I've seen is a four minute walk across the road, bit of advice, when you near the beach please take extra care to look out for the cyclists, there is plenty,, it's a massive cycle area. On the beach 2 loungers and a very good cover, better than brollies is 20 euro for the day, good value I thought. Top tip, little beach bars, a must to visit, tapas is fantastic, we went twice, nice staff and free public toilet facilities. I'm definitely returning, hotel is isolated, 20 mins walk to first pub. It's approximately 50 mins walk to cambrils and a good hours walk to salou. Buses run regularly, right outside hotel. The walks to both salou and cambrils are very flat, no hills at all, take ya time and enjoy the views.

Great hotel , very clean and staff were all very pleasant

Lovely hotel , very pleasant and helpful staff Food was good . I'd like to give special thanks to Oscar who took the fitness and dance classes , really enjoyed those and to Nodo the barman and Robert the waiter , all very efficient and friendly . Cambrils was a bus ride away or a 30 minute walk . Would have liked a kettle in the room but apart from that everything was very good

More or less an adult hotel perfect for quiet get away

Lets start with the good bits clean, nice big pool. Room done every day. Food not to bad managed to find things I liked. Most of the reception staff were lovely apart from one who was so rude to me and my daughter we were in total shock. Negatives no ball games, rubber rings, etc allowed at all in the pool. Saw a few kids crying because of this including my grand children. It took two hours on the easy jet transfer to get to the hotel so be prepared for a long journey. Not much to do for kids half hour entertainment so late 9 oclock evening. If you want a nice quiet holiday near the beach perfect. Not really for kids.
