My husband & I, along with our two grown sons traveled to Italy in April 2026!
For our two days in Rome, I selected the H10 Palazzo Galla hotel in Rome, based on reviews and suggestions from ChatGPT!
Using Chat, I search for hotels that were well rated for Safety, service, and amenities, along with walking distance to local historic sites and bonus points for a rooftop bar!
After Chat spit out a list, I began my own research and was thrilled with the description & photos of the H10 Palazzo in Rome!
The hotel staff effortlessly assisted us in carrying transportation from the cruise port to the hotel, despite my numerous changes in time. And upon arrival took our luggage to one of the two rooms we had reserved, while we waited for the second one to be available! My sons room was beautifully appointed with two twin beds and a large window and a beautiful bathroom!
He helpful friendly staff provided a map of easy places to walk to while we waited for our second room to be available!
An under 10 minutes of walking, we arrived at the Trevi fountain, and a little further past we visited the pantheon! There were numerous restaurants and shops all within walking distance to the hotel!
When we got back to the after a few hours of touring, my husband and I settled in into our beautifully appointed room, and we even had a terrace! We were greeted in the room by a complementary bottle of local olive oil & handmaid soap!
The room was eloquently decorated in chic city fashion, and the oversize bathroom contained both a large tub and a standalone shower with a rain faucet!
Later that evening, a staff person dropped by with a complementary-bottle of wine and two wine glasses!
After our exciting golf cart for through Rome that evening, (Turtle Tours), we had it upstairs to the rooftop bar, where we were able to eat some light food fare and have delicious drinks with an incredible view of the city, including the Colosseum!
The next morning, The hotel offered a delicious breakfast, available for $30 per person, which with all the selections they had, I felt was a fair and reasonable price!
The gracious staff accommodated every request we had during our time and assisted us on our final day with transportation to the train station!
Our stay at the H10 Palazzo hotel made our time in Rome, so enjoyable and provided a clean, safe, well appointed place to rest her head after a long day of tours!

Honeymoon at Palazzo Gala

We chose to stay at Palazzo Galla during our honeymoon in Rome. The location was fantastic, the rooms were large and beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The best part about this hotel is the rooftop. Aside from standing atop of the Altare Della Patria, you will not find a better view in Rome. Seriously, we went to every rooftop bar/restaurant, and none even compare.
