This hotel was simply amazing. Beautiful boutique style accommodation with very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Every comfort was taken care of from the little biscuits in the room to the vanity bag. We booked a Superior Roma twin room which was excellent; it even provided a partial view of the Vittoriano which was very unexpected, and from the other window a view over the street at the front of the hotel. The toiletries were high quality and made for a nice little pamper after clocking up thousands of steps exploring the city. The robes and slippers comfortable. The beds super nice. Our room was quiet with no internal noise from the corridors or adjacent rooms. Upon our arrival at just after 11am following an early flight from Edinburgh, we were immediately welcomed to sit down and check in with welcome drinks and snacks offered. This was such a lovely gesture especially as we were tired and thirsty having not slept well the previous evening. To our surprise, our room was already available - wow. I must stress just how exceptionally friendly and kind the staff were from the moment we arrived until checking out. The ladies at reception were fabulous, as was Edwin who was always waiting to help with warmth and a bit of humour as you passed through the lobby. The staff at the Palazzo Galla are absolutely providing five star service; better so than many of the five star hotels we have stayed at! We can only thank them for their hospitality and for making our stay so perfect. Breakfast both mornings was very good with an extensive choice of menu options to order and a more than adequate self-select buffet. The croissants were delicious! The latte even more so. Mimosas also on offer. Again, lovely staff to make your day start well. Lastly, the rooftop terrace is a standout for this hotel with expansive 360 views across all of Rome (including the Colosseum, St Peters dome, Pantheon, Spanish Steps etc). A perfect place to enjoy a drink (bar service was until 7pm but the terrace itself can be accessed from 6am-11pm). Dont miss it. The location of the hotel is perfect with the vast majority of landmarks a mere 5-15 minutes stroll away. We had a Scavi tour booked at the Vatican on our second day and the taxi the hotel ordered for us took only around 10 minutes to get there and cost us 12. Amazing! You could probably walk there if you felt up to it but the taxi is such an easy option and saves your energy for exploring! Upon checkout we were given a cute little magnet to remind us of the view from the roof terrace, as if we could forget! A charming gesture that sets the hotel high above all others at this price point. Thank you H10 Palazzo Galla for making our second visit to Rome so special. We felt so welcome and at home and left with great desire to return as soon as possible! Grazie!

A drink on arrival . A great start to our trip. A warm welcome by a lovely gentleman who helped us with our bags and made us feel right at home. Beautiful hotel and amazing location.. The rooftop bar is a must with great views of the city. The rooms are luxurious. Extremely comfortable. We had an amazing stay in H10, would highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Palazzo Galla which is, indeed, ideally situated to see many of the sights of Rome. The rooms are clean and very comfortable- immaculately made up every day to a very high standard. It was my partners birthday whilst we were there and the hotel provided a bottle of Prosecco - which was very welcome indeed. The staff are friendly and helpful and the roof top bar has amazing views.
We were a bit surprised to be asked to pay a deposit of 50 per night against, I presume, breakages etc. It was cancelled at the end of our stay but didnt really feel very hospitable. However this was hardly the fault of the individual hotel management but, Im guessing, a policy of H10 hotels. But it rather jarred - especially as we had already paid quite a lot.
