H10 Costa Mogán, Gran Canaria

A small and well equipped all inclusive adults only hotel with very good sea views.. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The drinks are all top shelf even on the rooftop sun terrace which is a nice change. The night entertainment was good for small hotel. Plenty of sunbeds so no early rush was necessary. There were good options in the restaurant although it was not always as-hot as the British are used to , the food was not always replaced as quick as it was used. There was good disabled access to all parts of the hotel except to the shop/ towel exchange and I think this should be improved. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you like a quiet holiday and will return again.

We stayed for a week at the beginning of May. We booked it as it was a small hotel offering adults only all inclusive. Whilst the food in the restaurant was a little repetitive and the choice as salads a little disappointing, there is nothing negative to say about the hotel. Strict no towels out by the pool was a delight, as was the help your self to beer/soft drinks/coffee at the pool bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet, as was the location next to the beach which is what we look for. There are not a lot of restaurants and bars nearby (the Irish Pub had no Guinness) but there are lots of local buses if you want to get out and about. If you want bright lights and a strip don't go here, but if you want somewhere small, quiet and good value for money then we would highly recommend it. Paul and Sarah

Hard to fault this hotel. Quiet location so not for party goers. Buffet food as good as we have had in Spain or Canaries as good selection and mostly fresh / hot. ( remember youre not paying for fine dining) Only negative the boomp boomp music but it did finish early. The music on roof terrace was boomp boomp as well albeit quietish but given the average guest age of over 50 some musical music ( or none ) would have been appreciated. Bit of a nightmare bus to hotel as lots of drop off first and took almost 2 hours from airport. We passed on bus on way back and took 30 mins by car.

Check-In - Was a great experience... friendly, informative, stress-free & quick. Special shout out to Ina who was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Food & Restaurants - The buffet restaurant was well-stocked, with plenty of choice. TBH I've stayed at places with more choice but the choices here were certainly sufficient and the food was always fresh and well-cooked. Similarly the pool bar also offered a choice of snacks if you didn't want to eat indoors during the day. The Fusion (Tapas) Restaurant was really nice - The food was very well cooked and the service was excellent (another shout out to the lady who served us - I didn't get her name unfortunately but she was very attentive and friendly). The Roof Top Bar was superb - relaxed, great views and a lovely place to have a few sundowners in the late afternoon. There were also sunbeds in this bar so you could also pick up a tan whilst enjoying a cocktail. Rooms - We had a ground floor Junior Suite with Sea View - it was pool side so was very convenient during the day. The room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed (a bit weird having a glass-walled bathroom but the glass is frosted so modesty can be maintained if required). The bed was very comfortable and I slept well, even though I suffer with lower back pain. Finally, the room was cleaned every day, always to a good standard. Entertainment - This was a bit mixed. Four of our seven nights were excellent, one was ok and the other two just weren't our cup of tea. Service - I really couldn't fault it. Everyone was really friendly and helpful - no exceptions. But.... especially good were Marta and Zelena who went the extra mile to make our stay special. Location - Costa Mogan is quite small and there aren't many places outside the hotel. That said, just up the road there are a few bars and restaurants including an Irish Bar which offers good value and friendly service. It's worth noting that this hotel is in Costa Mogan and not Puerto de Mogan, which is a bus ride away, further down the coast. Worth a visit though. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at H10 Costa Mogan and my wife and I will almost certainly return. Being Adults Only is a definite plus point but there is a separate apartment block attached to the hotel which is NOT Adults Only and is well-used by families especially at the weekends. I have to say, I'm looking forward to going back soon.
