H10 Tindaya, Fuerteventura

This holiday was brilliant and we would go back in a heart beat. I travelled in a group of four with my partner and his parents. We booked all inclusive and went for the Privilege suites. Facilities: When you walk in you can see how clean the hotel is. There are cleaners regularly going around and keeping the floors polished and keeping the place dust free. The rooms were also cleaned daily and if you have a Privileged room then you got a little choccy treat everyday. The hotel has multiple outdoor pools, a mini golf course and a really lovely spa. I definitely recommeded using the spa and having some treatments. They tend to have daily deals, so look out for those. The staff in the spa were very knowledgable and very thorough when offering support. I have allergies and couldn't use some of their products so they rung up the labs where the products came from and asked what products had no nuts traces at all. Activities: There was something for all of us to enjoy. There were brilliant activities to join in with, like: * Paddel * Aqua fit * Pool bike * Mini golf * Volleyball * Football If you wanted to, you could participate in all these activities, some of them or just sit back and relax by one of the pools. We got involved in a lot but also sat enjoyed by the Privilege pool, which was slightly quieter as there were less people about. Also, with the Privilege pool you get access to a seperate drinking section where you can have water, orange juice or cava. This is undercover and has some sofas and recliners for you to use. In the evening there was brilliant entertainment like Motown singers, local artists performing dance, songs, acrobatics and magic. I definitely reccomend getting up and having a dance for some of the singers! If there wasn't a performer then there would a quiz or bingo. The entertainment staff were approachable and kind. We always saw that they were working hard in whatever weather and were trying their best to make people feel relaxed on their holiday. In particular my family thought 'Alex' was fantastic, he was appraochable, kind, genuine and went above and beyond to make sure you were having a great holiday. Devleopment: One thing we did notice was that the catering staff seemed to be overworked and understaffed. This did mean they sometimes seemed a little flustered or brusk. But nobody was rude, they were just very busy trying to tidy tables and keep the food and drink toppped up.

We've stayed in Fuerteventura few times, but this was out first time at Costa Calma. The hotel was located right on the sea front, with its own steps to get down to the amazing white soft sandy beach with turquoise sea. A 10 to 15 minute walk and you are at the cute shops and cafes. The hotel itself was brilliant. Nice pools and plenty of sun loungers. Lovely views of the sea from everywhere. The pool snack bar was great for food and drinks. The main restaurant was excellent too. The Route 66 restaurant was also excellent. We had a superior double sea view room, but think we got a free upgrade to a junior suite room which was unexpected! The room was fabulous! We also couldn't resist the offer of a free photo shoot which was lots of fun and we of course bought the photos! Mike's Coffee bar was the real highlight. We couldn't stop using the place. They did such delicious Chocolate milkshakes and hot chocolates. We'd come back just for that!

We stayed for ten nights last May in a privilege junior suite with terrace and found the H10 Tindaya to be an excellent all-round hotel. We have stayed at many H10 hotels before, some five times but I would highly recommend the Tindaya, it does not exceed in every aspect, but it does not let you down in any aspect either. From arriving at reception and being greeted by Samual Martinez, who is by far the best front of house employee I have had the pleasure of meeting at any H10 hotel! everything just seemed to work, Samual could not do enough for us throughout our stay and was a breath of fresh air compared to the reception staff at our last H01 hotel only a few months earlier. The room was a good size, well proportioned, spotlessly clean and well maintained, a great terrace with full sun and a sea view. The restaurants where excellent, we always had breakfast in the Alisios, lunch in the Betancuria and evening meal in either the Alissios or route 66, never disappointed with the quality or service and any restaurant. We found the privilege lounge to be comfortable and more than adequate with the variety of drinks and snacks available, we only use the solarium once but it was nicely set out with limited drinks available for self-service. The entertainment was as expected at mainstream hotels, with this being a family hotel the children certainly enjoyed the early evening sessions with Daisy, though the entertainment room was rather busy the bar people worked tirelessly to ensure you never waited for long, oh, did I mention Voll Damm on draught, excellent! The grounds are well maintained and though there was work being carried out on the pool bar area this was of no inconvenience, the hotel is in a nice position to have a walk around the beach or along the paved area. Overall an excellent hotel, great location, a decent privilege package, great room option, exceptional food and service, the staff are just excellent, we will certainly return and are hoping that our visit to another H10 in Mexico in six week’s time can complete with the service given at the Tindaya.

Solo holiday (female) ... hotel is good for solo travellers. I went off peak in March 2023. Food was delicious plenty of variety, bit annoying you have to book your dinner time( &even then it's still busy) The coffee shop outside Mikes wow this place was my favourite.. do try! Great entertainment was the best I've seen in spain/canaries actually. Good wine prosecco and all drinks nice. Rooms good , comfy bed and gardens clean and well maintained. Overall good hotel and good staff. Beautiful views and stunning grounds. Cons: Paying to have your towels changed not good and paying for a safe?! Bars extremely understaffed takes so long for a drink inside and out. Pools need some tlc. There were cochroaches! I only saw in downstairs toilets. Not enough seating In the buffet area or the entertainment room/bar. Having to pay extra if you check out late to continue using facilities drinks and food. Pool snacks need to be covered better birds coming in. This place is not 4 star more 3 star. However I would return. I have stayed at pajara beach next door previously which was a bit better.
