The H10 Metropolitan, a leading hotel in the Ciudad Condal

The H10 Metropolitan stands out as one of the city’s most charismatic hotels, known for both its location and its facilities and the high quality of its services. It is a superior four-star hotel with its eye-catching elegance and décor inspired by 19th century industrial Barcelona. Located on Rambla Catalunya, in an ideal location very close to the historic centre, the hotel is surrounded by some of the city’s most attractive artistic and architectural gems. This is an exceptional location from which to explore Barcelona and it’s also an ideal location for enjoying evenings as the Edén Terrace has an exclusive range of after-work offers. The hotel’s facilities and services:The H10 Metropolitan opened its doors in the summer of 2014 with a design inspired by 19th century industrial Barcelona. With comfortable wooden and leather furniture, lamps and wrought iron details, the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán has created a lovely bright space, away from the stresses of the city. The spacious lobby mixes details and sculptures from different styles, lending the space its unique personality. It opens out into the Edén Bar, ideal for having a drink whilst relaxing on one of the comfortable Chesterfield sofas. Next to the bar is The Library, with its large chimney bringing warmth to the room. It’s a great option for private events. You can access the Edén Terrace through the large glass doors.

They open out onto a ground floor outdoor courtyard, with a pool and a vertical garden where you can disconnect from your daily routine in the centre of Barcelona. The hotel has 85 rooms with views of Rambla Catalunya, the peaceful inner courtyard or the atrium. The rooms are decorated with high-quality furnishings, including bespoke lamps and headboards made especially for the hotel, with a wooden structure that incorporates artisan ceramic medallions. They include high-end facilities, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, an iPhone charging station and exclusive Rituals amenities. Amongst the five different types of room, the Deluxe Rooms are particularly special, with a spectacular private furnished terrace and Jacuzzi, ideal for a romantic getaway. On the top floor, you can find the TopOn Terrace with a plunge pool and sun lounger area where you can relax during the day or take in the stunning views of Plaça Catalunya or Tibidabo. Its décor, with mosaic tiles and marble tables, brings the city’s characteristic elegance to the terrace. When it comes to cuisine, The Kitchen restaurant, decorated in a vintage style, offers a delicious breakfast with a cold buffet of sweet and savoury dishes and a menu of freshly prepared hot dishes. The restaurant can also host lunches and dinners for groups upon request.Next to the restaurant is the spacious Urban meeting room that can hold up to 80 people.

It is fully equipped for any social or professional event. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building, Business Corner and mini-gym.Forbidden Sunsets, reinventing after-work drinks:The H10 Metropolitan has proposed a new way of having after-work drinks with Forbidden Sunsets, inspired by the calm and sophisticated atmosphere of the Edén bar and terrace. The area is open to the public to enjoy the evening in a different space. The hotel has added new dishes to its menu, with many inspired by the Garden of Eden’s forbidden fruit. At Forbidden Sunsets, you can try the new Eden cocktail made from champagne and apple, gin and tonics combined with foie gras toasts and caramelised apple, or you can enjoy a glass of wine with some Iberian ham and cheese, complemented by a mini Tarte Tatin. On Thursday and Friday evenings, music will liven up the Forbidden Sunsets. On Thursdays, there will be live performances and on Fridays, a DJ will get the party started.Testimony to the hotel’s quality:The facilities, location and high quality service have turned the H10 Metropolitan into one of the most highly rated hotels in recent months. In May, it was awarded the title of the Best City Hotel in Spain by the Spanish edition of the Condé Nast Traveler magazine, one of the most prestigious honours in the world of tourism.
