H10 Vintage Salou

First time on a package holiday, such a great experience with the services and amenities that were on offer. The food was varied with meat and veg options to cater for all requirements. The staff were helpful and the hotel offers a secure store room if you check in early. A big shout out has to go to Arian on the entertainment team, he always included everyone no matter what age, and always had a smile on his face and he made it easy to relax.

This hotel is amazing and very tentative to all your needs. There was plenty of time to relax without people pestering to try things. Arian was fantastic host and kept us all entertained throughout the stay. His energy through each day was exuberant from start to finish on the long days. The pool was very clean as were the poolsides. Never really had to wait for sun-beds as there were plenty for all. Food in the hotel was nice and full of flavours, however it was slightly repetitive but I enjoyed it. The facilities were fantastic and we will recommend and returns

We arrived at 10.15am Tuesday morning, although we couldnt check in to our rooms until 3pm the staff on reception were brilliant and showed us a secure room to store our luggage. This room is right next to the reception desk so we had no worries about leaving our bags, it also had a separate shower, toilet and changing area which was a massive bonus! We were given a card so that we could use the pool and bar areas before we got our room key (another great bonus as we could get right into enjoying our holiday!) The hotel itself is immaculately clean, all the staff are friendly and the pool areas are the best weve ever seen! Daytime entertainment is great and the entertainment team are lovely! Special shout out to Arian for being an absolute star! The food is typical Spanish buffet but with a different main each night. We travelled as a 4, 2 of us are veggie and there was always plenty of choice both at breakfast and dinner! The area itself is lovely, quiet and perfect for a break away from work and life stresses! The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels and sheets whenever requested. Housekeeping team go above and beyond. Honestly such a lovely time has been had, were already looking for next year!

This hotel is in a great location. Check in was quick though you don’t get into your room until 3 so had to leave our cases and go back. We had a pool view room which I would recommend. Rooms were clean though a bit dated. We were half board and although buffet wasn’t massive the food was always fresh and topped up regularly. We caught the evening entertainment a couple of nights and it was really quite good. If you have a pool view room you can watch from your balcony as it is held outside when weather is good. We stayed 9 nights and never had an issue getting sunbeds. We used the roof terrace a few times and it was really clean and a nice small bar. As mentioned in previous reviews there is very little sound proofing between rooms which can be an issue. My only criticism is that although there are lots of sunbeds there are very few parasols. During our stay we never had one at all and in the temperatures we had while there I would definitely have used one. We took the Plana bus to Tarragona which is well worth a visit if you are in Salou and for those that like shopping it has a great shopping centre. Cambrils is also well worth a visit.
