H10 Tindaya, Fuerteventura

We are huge fans of the H10 Hotels and stay in various H10 hotels in Europe 4-5 times year. The Tindaya offers excellent value for money, we stayed all-inclusive . Postive Observations: As always excellent customer service from staff, especially checkin staff ...we had a super friendly checkin with a lovely guy...I think his name was Bruno Outside areas and pool area lovely, Hotel and rooms very clean Mikes coffee shop in lovely position , great service and coffee excellent. The beach is stunning and accessed by a little door and tunnel directly from the hotel. We liked the " help yourself to wine and beer"in the restaurant for all-inclusive guests. Food was hot and tasty although the choice was not as varied as other H10 hotels. Negative Observations : The location of the main inside bar is really poor, it is in an area outside the buffet restaurant tucked away in the corner. When we arrived at the hotel we saw a bar area in the lobby and thought "lovely area and great view" .... but this has been given to the privilege guests . There is dreadful graffiti on the back of the ladies toilets by the restaurant. Extremely poor behaviour from other guests and although is not the fault of the hotel that guests choose to behave so poorly, I feel it is the duty of the hotel to rectify this . The lighting in the Buffett restaurant was bright and harsh, giving the restaurant a canteen feel about it. We chose to sit in the conservatory area of the restaurant where the lighting was marginally more welcoming. Charging for the safe. All in all we had a good stay and despite the negatives I would return for a short winter break because of the service, blue skies and value for money.

We recently stayed at H10 Tindaya as two families travelling together, with kids ranging from 7 to 18 years old, and had a fantastic time. On arrival the lady we dealt with was really friendly and helpful, and explained where our room was, and all the facilities. The hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and is very family-friendly. The staff at the bar were outstanding incredibly friendly, hardworking, and always smiling. In fact, all the staff were lovely, with the exception of Maria (restaurant manager) in the restaurant. She got very annoyed one evening when we all set together, as we moved a few chairs and a table, which the front of house team said we could do. She came storming over started grabbing tables, and moving them back, saying 'my name is Maria'... All very strange. The next day she then tried to block our access to the Route 66 restaurant as a couple of the little ones had eaten earlier at the buffet (because they were hungry) and therefore weren't allowed to eat at Route 66 (our booking was at 9pm). But I would like to say her behaviour was the only negative of the holiday, so I don't want to dwell on it too much. The pool bar was excellent even when it was busy, any queue was very short, only ever a few minutes. Drink quality was also great for an all-inclusive, which made a real difference to the experience. The buffet had lots of choice, and although its still buffet-style and you cant expect restaurant-quality meals, for a group of nine of us, there was always something everyone enjoyed. The pools are beautiful, and we were pleased that we could always find sun loungers, even when we didn't head down until about 11:30am. The prime spots were usually taken by then, but we never had an issue finding space. The beach is another highlight just a few minutes' walk from the pool, and its really lovely. The animation team deserve a special mention, especially Alex (AKA Professional Magician). He really made a difference even my 11-year-old son, who usually gives kids activities a miss nowadays, was keen to join in when Alex was running them. We upgraded to the Privilege Room, and that is definitely something you should do if possible. You get daily access to the ala carte restaurant for breakfast and dinner which is worth it alone. All in all, H10 Tindaya is a great family hotel. We had a brilliant holiday and would happily recommend it to other families looking for a friendly, relaxed place to stay.

The Best Place i have been ever, what a Great Hotel. The Treatment was Special and the food spectacular, i will repeat this experience Next year!!! I Hope a lot of people would go and im sure they will have one of the best experiences of their lifes.

We've stayed in Fuerteventura few times, but this was out first time at Costa Calma. The hotel was located right on the sea front, with its own steps to get down to the amazing white soft sandy beach with turquoise sea. A 10 to 15 minute walk and you are at the cute shops and cafes. The hotel itself was brilliant. Nice pools and plenty of sun loungers. Lovely views of the sea from everywhere. The pool snack bar was great for food and drinks. The main restaurant was excellent too. The Route 66 restaurant was also excellent. We had a superior double sea view room, but think we got a free upgrade to a junior suite room which was unexpected! The room was fabulous! We also couldn't resist the offer of a free photo shoot which was lots of fun and we of course bought the photos! Mike's Coffee bar was the real highlight. We couldn't stop using the place. They did such delicious Chocolate milkshakes and hot chocolates. We'd come back just for that!
