H10 Ocean Dunas, Fuerteventura

The staff are the very best, most helpful. Everywhere around the hotel is so clean and the food is excellent. A feature of the buffet breakfast is the natural honeycomb. This is our favourite hotel, we return at least once or twice every year.

We fulfilled our promise to ourselves and returned to Ocean Dunas. Having first visited to celebrate my wifes 80th birthday on 4th April 2024 and a Winter Sun break in November 2024 we couldn't resist a return visit to celebrate my wifes 81st birthday. Arrived on 26th Marchfor12 nights. A fantastic reception from the staff and a chance to meet the new manager. Always a great room selection in a peaceful, quiet oasis, well managed, with exceptional staff, Adults Only Star Hotel. Great food selection for both breakfast and dinner. An ideal location to both the main shopping street and the sandy beach with at least five bar restaurants. A pleasure to return. J and R

We stayed for 2 weeks in a Junior Suite overlooking the pool. We chose this hotel because it was adults only and was billed as a quiet hotel. This suited us, we are happy to entertain ourselves with books and relaxation, so it was perfect. Reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was a reasonably large one with a patio overlooking the pool - it was right next to the bar, but as that closed at 11pm and there were never any rowdy customers so this never caused an issue. We had a small issue with one of the light switches - we mentioned this as we were leaving for a walk and by the time we returned, someone had been to look at it. They apologised that they didn't have the part and promised to return the next day. The following day, we left for breakfast and by the time we returned it was all fixed. That was great service. We ate in the restaurant a few times, which was pleasant and had a reasonable wine list. Breakfast had a fair selection of cold and hot and was a buffet. The coffee cups were a bit small for my liking, but that just gave me a bit of exercise to refill a couple of times! Altogether, a most relaxing and enjoyable stay and we intend to return. I will probably request a room on the top floor next time, simply because you then have nobody above you moving furniture!

I write this review while lying on the balcony in junior suite 201. We have just spent 9 wonderful days here . Lets start with hotel location , fantastic , in the middle of where you need to be but very quiet . Being an adult only hotel the clientele are slightly older leading to a calm and chilled ambiance . The pool is heated and always quiet with plenty of sun beds available all day ( this is due to lots of people using their junior suite terraces ) . We were bed & breakfast , always lots of choice and as my partner is vegan shes was pleasantly surprised at the choice she had . Staff are attentive , courteous and polite . The junior suites are spacious with a huge bed and great walk in shower . The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day . We had only one negative , the Air conditioning is really poor producing no cold air , noisy and inefficient. I complained on 4 occasions to be told it was working fine which was frustrating . We were offered another room but it was no better there . We encountered many other guests with the same gripe . Some guests even restored to buying fans at the local markets . As mentioned a great hotel and this was our only fault we could find . We would return but only at certain times of the year as with the current AC a summer visit would be unbearable .
