H10 Palazzo Canova, Venice

What a fantastic hotel! We splurged on a water taxi from the train station (we came from Florence). As it was our first time in Venice, we were absolutely wowed by the beauty of the city via water taxi. The water taxi brought us straight to the front of the hotel! The front desk staff greeted us warmly with a cold drink which was much welcomed during a scratching Venice July. Check in was easy, and we rushed to the comforts of our rooms! The rooms were a great size, not too small, not too big, just right and thankfully with fantastic air condition which was crucial to a comfortable stay in the sweltering July. Location wise- whats not to love being on the main canal and just shy of the Rialto bridge. Also it was fun to lose ourselves in the labyrinth of walkways around the hotel. Also, restaurants are plentiful nearby. The breakfast daily at the hotel was delightful, with an array of choices from sweet to savory! The terrace bar overlooking the canal is a treat! Aperativo, night cap, a snackthe terrace was a great place to just soak Venice in! I would return here in a heartbeat and recommend it to first timers in Venice wholeheartedly.

No complaints about this hotel. The location is convenient to the major attractions in Venice. It was reasonably priced with good service. The rooftop bar is very cool, I'd recommend making a reservation to sit next to the railing for a better view.

A modern design and spotlessly clean hotel. We were greeted by Sofia who was so pleasant and helpful. She gave us lots of local knowledge about tours, sightseeing, restaurants to even booking / printing our train tickets to Florence. The rooftop bar is a must with the charming Francesco and Luca, good fun, great cocktails overlooking the Grand Canal. Very central location, rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Would return just to stay at this hotel.

Modern and comfy right on canal.speed boat straight to door. Rooms v comfortable and all staff great . Breakfast v good .terrace bar lovely staff great .drinks approx 3x dearer but paying for view.petty guests dont get discount. Restaurants close we chose repeat visits to al gobbo rialto bridge at rear street . Great place! Will visit again
