H10 Big Sur, Tenerife

This was our first visit to H10 Big Sur, we picked it because it is a relatively small hotel in a great location on the sea frount and adults only and it certainly did not disappoint. I believe all the bedrooms are similar. We chose one at front overlooking the carpark and hills . At times you got a fair bit of road noise so would recommend a sea view room. We stayed half board and thought the food was very good, always plenty of choice, in the main couldn't fault it. On an evening , we had planned to go out and sample the local bars, but the entertainment in the hotel was very good , so much so we stayed in to watch it for our full 14 nights. If we were to sum up H10 Big Sur in one word , it would be cosy. The seating in the restaurant was cosy and the sunbeds round the pool were cosy , all be it a slight criticism the hotel can't really do much about it. We met some great fellow guests and members of staff during our stay. Must give a special mention to our room cleaner , Sonia , not only did she do a great job on our room , but she is one of the most friendly , warmest people we have met , even singing to us every day. Thanks for the memories Big Sur , hope to return one day.

What a welcoming and relaxing stay. Visited Tenerife loads of time and this was my favourite stay. Staff are always smiling, and happy to help. Room was sea facing and wonderful to wake up to that amazing view! Just an FYI, its next to a busy port and I loved waking to the sounds of the sea and boats but for ones that like morning peace the view goes hand in hand with some gentle local noise. We like eating out but the couple of times we tried breakfast it was wonderful. Used the pool bar for drinks and was pleasantly surprised at the bar bill, so reasonable! Will definitely return. This is a wonderful hotel. It is not to big and has such a peaceful and friendly vibe - I don't know how they do it! Our room was not sea facing, however that did not distract from the room which was very clean and spacious. Food was really nice and plentiful - the show cooking in particular was fantastic. I can honestly say that every employee we came into contact with had a warm smile and genuinely seemed pleased to see everyone! As an H10 member we have stayed at a few H10 hotels; this was in small but perfectly formed! Thank you for a wonderful stay

Short 4 night stay in superior room. The terrace was huge with comfortable sun beds & parasol. Welcomed with a glass of bucks fizz while checking in and the daily gifts left in our room were a lovely touch. Friendly helpful staff throughout the hotel. No sun bed wars around the pool and always plenty available. Restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere with a great variety of dishes and amazing puddings for those who have a sweet tooth. I especially enjoyed my glass of Cava with breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel if youre looking for a chilled holiday I will certainly be back hopefully this year.

The hotel was lovely we couldn't afford to upgrade to pool view, so our room looked out to front of hotel. Ours was a standard double which wasn't anything special. The pillows were awful very lumpy however the bed was comfy The pool was nice I liked the fact it didn't open until 9.30 so that stopped a few people putting towels on beds at stupid o'clock . Never understand why hotels allow that. Didn't like the fact you had to pay for a safe that should be free. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was standard not much choice for vegetarians though The entertainment was a bit odd that it didn't start until after 9 and finished an hour later
