Ocean Maya Royale, Riviera Maya

We stayed at the Ocean Maya Royale for 10 days. What a fantastic resort!! Beachfront property with 5 restaurants (1 buffet and 4 la carte) plus an onsite coffee shop. You can eat at all restaurants for lunch or dinner as many times as you like which was great. Food in all the restaurants was excellent. 2 pools, the larger was the quieter one and then the smaller one where you can take part in lots of activities as well as having a swim up bar. Cocktails and drinks were so good throughout the resort. Hand tip - take a large insulated cup for your cocktailsthe bar staff will fill them up no matter how big there are! Room was spacious and well air conditioned. TV had a good choice of channels. Good size bathroom and their in house toiletries were very good. The highlight for us was the entertainment teamespecially Kendall!!!! OMG he is such a vibe! So fun, so kind & gracious and very funny. We absolutely love him and he really made our holiday so memorable.

Ocean Maya Royale Resumen de opiniones de Google 4.7 12,823 opiniones 5 4 3 2 1 Opiniones en otros sitios de viajes Opiniones Buscar opiniones sarah hepple 5/5 Weve just returned from an 11 night stay, we loved everything about the hotel, fantastic room(2705) which was in a perfect posittion 2 mims from pools amd beach 4 mims from reception and resturants, entertainmemt staff were grest massive shout out to kendel you are truely the best entertainer we have ever met the way you make sure all the guest that wanted to take part had a fabulous time , you are what makes the hotel shine and marcelo from the sports bar, mikes coffee shop is such an amazing place and always service with a smile, the whole place is spotless and grounds are beautiful , food was great and you can use all resturants ,only need to book the japanese but it was worth it.. only a couple of issues no atm so u cant get cash anywere,,hotel may be needs to think about putting on a shuttle bus into playa and pool needs cleanimg early in a morning and not while were swimming,pool guy was rude,i dont really want my feet and belongings been swilled with pool water,its an easy fix start early as soon as its light !!!! We will deffo be back we loved it

Originally our party of four were booked to go to Cape Verde, but due to substantial discounts to trips to Mexico and not having been for 12 years we decided we wanted to return. I am glad we did. We also decided we wanted Adult Only and not one of the massive complexes that Mexico has in abundance. Brilliant flight over with TUI and efficient taxi service to the hotel. A lovely warm and efficient welcome by the Privilege Team and within 20 minutes we were on our way to our rooms 1706 & 2006. I will explain that when we upgraded to Privilege we were offered the service, but not the Privilege rooms. As we are not in the rooms a lot we felt that was an easy compromise as full Privilege is extremely expensive. The rooms were spacious and had a lovely outlook over the local gardens. The resort has 30 blocks, each containing 8 rooms. The rest of the rooms are located in the main building. The resort is not massive and can be walked easily. The reason we upgraded to Privilege was due to the fact that we love the a la carte experience and with the help of our fabulous Butler, Jose, who ensured we had a restaurant booking every evening at the time we required. The beach area was lovely and had a dedicated area for Privilege, but to be fair the brilliant pools and beach areas were amazing and never seemed to be a difficulty to find places to spend the day. We had a fabulously relaxing 2 week stay. Food was exceptional. We never had a bad meal. The best fillet steaks were found in the Blue Moon Restaurant rather than the Privilege Steak House. But all the restaurants La Dolce vita (Italian) and Charros (Mexican) had fantastic menu choice, excellent quality food served by fantastically attentive staff. Must complement the hotel for their ability to employ such a fabulous group of people, who looked after us so well and so friendly. The members of staff listed below, were those we met and interacted daily and were exceptional. Love this resort. It is like coming home. It is just the to right amount of Luxury very comfortable! And good food! Staff is great and the entertainment team is amazing. Viri makes our stay so much more enjoyable. Always there with her amazing smile also special thank you to Luis ffeom guest services for the special welcome with our room
