Food was great, service to the most part excellent. Issue with one bar and use of all-inclusive band which did not work but unfortunately hotel did not deal with issue well. Rooms were nice if a little outdated. Range of foreign beers poor. Overall however we had a great 10 days.

Too far out to walk into playa blanca unless ur very fit but with just having knee surgery wasn't do abull .
Hotel food was great in buffet reasturants but couldn't get into allacart reasturant fully booked so that was disappointing

Trip Advisor - H10 Rubicon Hotel
Transport: Get a taxi from the front of the airport directly to H10 Rubicon, plenty available when we arrived and the cost was reasonable (50-60 Euros) and way less than an airport transfer offered by the hotel (c.110 Euros). Hotel can book you a taxi for the return to the airport at a similar cost (60 Euros) and you can pay by card.
Arrival: Be prepared straightaway for the divergent treatment of those who are on the privileged package. Eg queue at main desk or be guided to a separate desk with nice seats and accompanying cava and nibbles.
Bedroom: We were on the privileged package and our bedroom was in a block of rooms down by the sea front. Lovely views of the sea. We were opposite the kids pool but really didnt hear anything so it wasnt an issue. Room was clean but definitely tired in places. No iron in the room which was annoying and when we asked for one it never arrived! Mattress was really comfy and various pillow options provided. Shower was fine and bathroom area was generally good.
Food: varied hugely! Always arrived quite quickly, attentive table staff. Warm and well presented but unreliable quality. Eg disgustingly over cheesy pizzas and badly cooked steak, but fabulous omelettes and burgers. Staff happy to fulfil specific requests on orders, and replaced unsatisfactory food without question. Good availability of wines, spirits and other alcoholic beverages including cocktails.
Facilities: Wide range of facilities and something for everyone activity wise. But the whole place looks really worn and tired. The hotel lobby sets a high bar and sadly the rest of the place doesnt really meet it. Everything functioned (apart from the online booking system) but the spa for instance felt more like a leisure centre than a luxury retreat. The gym was small but serviceable
Staff: All Lovely! Multi-lingual and remembered little details if you dined in the same restaurant. We had our one allocated dinner in the Italian restaurant (La Dolce Vita - also where we lunched) and dined other evenings in the privileged la carte restaurant (breakfast here too).
Overall: 4/5 - it has five star aspirations but needs an injection of money for renovation. Its a 4 star at best. If you arent on the privileged deal its a different story, including queues for meals and significantly reduced quality of food. Meanwhile privileged guests enjoy at table service and a fully stocked separate lounge/veranda.
