H10 Playa Meloneras Palace, Gran Canaria

This was are third successive visit to this hotel and wont be the last .The staff and facilities are excellent and nothing is to much for them.Having become regulars its so nice that the staff have such good memories and always make are stay so memorable

Recently returned from a 10 day stay here in the Privilege section, with my husband, daughter and her fiancé. We managed to get rooms very close to each other which was fab and the rooms themselves were large and airy although no real drawer space, other than single drawer in bedside table but lots of hanging space. Lovely shower room (no bath), twin basins, loo and bidet! Coffee machine and kettle provided, mini fridge which was restocked periodically (including Haribos and Oreo biscuits) . Lovely bottle of red wine and 2 glasses in your room awaiting your arrival which we thought was a lovely gesture. The 3 outdoor pools were all really cold despite the air temperature but as the adage says, its not so bad once youre in. The privilege pool and terrace has access to the privilege bar until 8pm where you simply help yourself to beer, water, branded spirits, fizz etc as well as light snacks. As a privilege customer you can access the privilege restaurant for breakfast each day (always to be booked) and for evening meal. The food choices in all restaurants can get a bit samey as only the specials change daily, even in the buffet its only really the meat choice which varies. However, the food was good particularly in the restaurants. Just as we were leaving, the 2 new restaurants were due to open (I believe theyre Japanese and Italian) so thatll make a massive change for the better. The evening entertainment was surprisingly good and didnt consist of the usual animation team sing a longs instead it was local people singing or playing music or the favourite out there of acrobatic dance. That ended at 11ish and the majority of people seemed to go to bed then although the outside bar did carry on serving but table service ends when the show does. We found all the staff to be wonderfully polite and friendly from the bar staff to the housekeeping staff and were keen to help however they could. We got a taxi to and from the airport (pre booked) and the transfers took around 40 minutes each way. Wed definitely return to this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would suggest, however, thats its not really great for youngsters as it pretty quiet and in a residential area so not a lot happening for them in terms of bars, cafes, nightclubs etc outside the hotel. For that Id suggest Playa del Ingles.

We stayed for four weeks in this beautiful hotel in May and had a fabulous holiday. Jet2 had offered to move us due to building work being carried out but we declined their offer and are so pleased we stayed there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Soulimen, Patricia, Xenia, Alian, Danay, Gustavo, Giovanni and Yamara for looking after us in the buffet restaurant. Special thanks to our "Mr Bombastic" Iwain Ojeda for cooking our steak with love! The food was lovely and there was so much choice on offer. In the bar, Samir, Keiran, Natan, Gabriella, Teresa and the one and only Alejandro were brilliant! Also, Claudia our lovely cleaner who kept our room spotless. The hotel is very clean, spacious and a great place to unwind and relax, especially around the chill out pool. We walked into the centre of Meloneras along the promenade, which took us around 20 minutes, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. Our first time staying in Gran Canaria, we loved the friendly people and places to visit. Puerto Morgan, known as "little Venice" was so lovely. We also took a trip to Las Palmas in the north of the island and enjoyed looking around the Aquarium. We will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for making our anniversary holiday so special.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We are lucky enough to have travelled the world many times. We usually choose a hotel at least in the top 10 of TripAdvisor if not top 5. But we liked the look of this one and was mixed reviews here and on Google. We decided to go for it and try it for ourselves.....we have now popped it on our top 5 hotels ever! We decided to upgrade to the privilege level before we arrived and I'm so glad we did. We loved the privilege infinity pool, it was super peaceful. Brilliant you can help yourself to drinks. As Privilege you can eat all your meals in the Al La Carte restaurants.... I have to say this was some of the nicest food we have eaten (not far off cruise ship level food) We favoured La Brassiere on an evening and the service was great, the staff really do look after you. Lunch in the Naturalia was in a really nice setting and again the staff are brilliant. The Tropical chill out bar for sunset is very nice. We loved the walk to Meloneras and to the dunes in a morning for sunrise, it wasn't that far we probably reached the shops in around 10 minutes along the promenade. The staff all stop and say hello which is lovely. The privilege rooms are very nice we stayed on level 5 over looking the privilege pool with a beautiful sea view. My only criticism would be .... the floors don't get swept/hoovered and started to get a bit dusty/sandy towards the end of our stay. We were really sad to leave last night and can't wait to return.
