H10 Hotels has acquired the Puerta de Alcalá Hotel, a four-star establishment with 146 rooms located in the neighbourhood of Salamanca, a residential area close to Madrid's best boutiques. H10 Hotels has taken over both the ownership and the management of the hotel, which will now be called the H10 Puerta de Alcalá. This new acquisition is the chain’s third establishment in Madrid, where it already has the H10 Villa de la Reina, on Gran Vía, and the H10 Tribeca, purchased in June 2015 and located close to Paseo de la Castellana, giving it a total of 360 rooms in the city.The hotel, located at number 66 on Calle de Alcalá, is close to Milla de Oro, Madrid's largest luxury shopping district, and next to Retiro Park. Its ideal location means it is within walking distance of several of the city's key tourist attractions and close to public transport.

The 146 rooms are elegant and come equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. They are soundproofed and include a flat screen TV with international channels, minibar, safe box, air conditioning, fully-equipped bathroom with hairdryer and pillow menu, on request. The Double Rooms have a queen size or twin beds and may include views of the Salamanca neighbourhood. The hotel also offers Superior Rooms, which are more spacious and are furnished with a king size bed. Then there are the Family Rooms, which can accommodate up to four people.The hotel's elegant restaurant serves a full breakfast buffet with select cuisine. Other features include a pleasant bar with picture windows and views of the neighbouring gardens, which serves a selection of delicious snacks, cocktails and premium gin & tonics.

The H10 Puerta de Alcalá is a great option for holding work meetings or any other type of event, as it has four fully-equipped meeting rooms. Two of them have exterior windows and the largest can accommodate up to 130 people.The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, a free Business Corner, parking (with an additional charge) and a laundry service.2015 was a very busy year for H10 Hotels, with several new acquisitions and openings that have added another nine establishments to its portfolio in Seville, Cambrils, Fuerteventura, Lisbon, Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona and Varadero.
