2nd Edition of Gastronomy Days at the H10 Casanova

The H10 Casanova hotel is holding the second edition of its Gastronomy Days event dedicated to traditional Catalan cuisine, with the help of the renowned chefs from “La cuina a Sils”.After the success of the 2014 event, this February, the H10 Casanova is once again treating us to a series of gastronomy days dedicated to traditional Catalan cuisine organised by “La cuina a Sils”, with the aim of demonstrating the culinary wisdom that has been handed down from generation to generation in Catalonia. These gastronomy days will take place from 19 to 21 February.On 19 February, the hotel will kick off the gastronomy days with a private lunch attended by members of local government, including Josep Maria Pelegrí i Aixut, the current Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and the Environment of the Catalan Regional Government. The chefs from “La cuina a Sils” will serve the dishes themselves and give an explanation of them to the diners.From 19 to 21 February, between 8.

30 pm and 11 pm, “La cuina a Sils” will be treating diners to a buffet tasting menu consisting of 3 appetisers, 2 first courses, 3 main dishes and 2 desserts served with DO Empordà wine and Brut Perelada cava, as well as coffee and petits fours. All the dishes will be served by the chefs from “La cuina a Sils”, who will give a detailed explanation of the history of the dishes and how they are created.
