The H10 Montcada hosts the exhibition ‘The faces of Barcelona’
You won’t want to miss this exciting collection of photographs and illustrations of the bustling Catalan capital!
The H10 Montcada, located on Vía Laietana in Barcelona, between the Gothic Quarter and the cosmopolitan Born district, has inaugurated the exhibition ‘The faces of Barcelona’, which brings together a variety of artwork about the ‘Ciudad Condal’.
The hotel’s main floor and top-floor terrace will play host to an exhibition of art about Barcelona by three photographers and an illustrator. The show will last until December. The four international artists have depicted the city’s diversity. With her collections Sounds of Barcelona, Born and Mare Magnum, Julia Hernández has captured the essence of life in the Catalan capital through its music and sculpture. In Barcelona Streets, the photographer Nicole Neuefeind highlights a series of charming nooks and crannies in Barcelona’s Eixample district. The British photographer James French offers several visions of the city’s coastline in his series Mar [Sea]. Finally, the illustrator Georgina Hoby has created a collection of illustrations that immerse the visitor in Barcelona’s Modernista (Art Nouveau) tradition.
All the pieces in the photography exhibit are for sale to visitors. Moreover, hotel guests will be offered a book explaining all the works and the option of touring the sites where the photographs were taken.
