Ocean Coral & Turquesa wins the Condé Nast Traveler award
The prestigious travel magazine recognises the world’s best hotels every year
The hotel Ocean Coral&Turquesa has been awarded the Condé Nast Traveler 2009 award for the best international resort. Readers of the Spanish edition of this esteemed travel magazine have chosen the hotel Ocean Coral & Turquesa as the best international resort from a list of finalists featuring the best hotels in the world.
Gemma Espelt, Marketing Manager for H10 Hotels, was the person in charge of collecting last Monday the prize at the awards ceremony that the magazine held at the Cecilio Rodríguez Gardens in the Parque del Retiro in Madrid.
There were numerous figures from the tourist industry at the award ceremony, together with famous faces including actress Aitana Sánchez Gijón, television celebrities Ana García Siñeriz, Mercedes Milá and Paula Vázquez, model Martina Klein and singer Alaska.
The five-star Ocean Coral & Turquesa opened in December 2007 on the beach front in Puerto Morelos on the Mayan Riviera. Its privileged location by the sea front, contemporary interior décor, large, spacious rooms with their modern furniture, four exclusive á la carte restaurants, terrace, chill-out lounge bar overlooking the sea, and fully-equipped spa have made this hotel one of the most sought-after by holiday-makers visiting the Mayan Riviera.
