H10 Hotels buys the Hotel Lido seafront hotel in Camp de Mar, Mallorca
With this establishment, located in the municipality of Andratx, the chain now has two hotels in Mallorca, the other one being the H10 Punta Negra, in Costa d’en Blanes.
On June 16, 2011, the H10 Hotelshotel chain signed an agreement to buy the Hotel Lido with the BMC Hotels group of Mallorca, thus taking over the four-star hotel located right on the sea front in the tourist area of Camp de Mar (Mallorca). Management of the hotel is transferred to H10 Hotels as of the purchase date.
The establishment, which will be provisionally operating under the name of H10 Lido, has 101 rooms, 16 of them Junior Suites, all of them with sea views and completely equipped with minibar, TV with international channels, safe, terrace and fully-equipped bathroom with hair drier. The hotel's other facilities comprise a Restaurant Buffet, a Lobby Bar with outdoor terrace, an entertainment programme, free Wi-Fi in common areas, Internet Corner, Wellness area with heated swimming pool, fitness centre, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and sauna.
The hotel leads straight on to Camp de Mar, one of the most beautiful beaches in the south-west of the island of Mallorca, thanks to its crystal-clear waters and relaxed atmosphere, just five minutes away from the exclusive golf course of Andratx. Moreover, the location of the hotel could hardly be better, just 28 km away from the city of Palma and 38 km away from the airport.
The establishment, completely refurbished in 2006, will be fully operational throughout the summer season and will make the most of the winter break to upgrade its facilities to adapt to the standards of the H10 Hotels chain.
With this new addition, H10 Hotels is fulfilling its objective of extending its presence in the main holiday destinations in Spain, with a product which is in the line of the group's other establishments, characterised by an excellent location, always on the sea front or in the city centre, and by the quality of their installations and services.
This establishment reinforces H10 Hotels' presence on the island of Mallorca, where it already has the H10 Punta Negra on the Costa d'en Blanes, with a total of 38 hotel establishments in 15 destinations.
