01/24/2011 H10 Hotels buys back the H10 Taburiente Playa and the H10 Costa Salinas from Hotasa
With this takeover, H10 Hotels reinforces its presence in the Canary Islands, where it now has 16 establishments on 5 islands.
On January 18, the H10 Hotels hotel group bought back the two establishments of La Palma, H10 Taburiente Playa and H10 Costa Salinas back from the Hotasa chain one year and ten months after selling them.
These two properties, which H10 Hotels had been managing as owner since the year 2000, were sold to Hotasa in March 2009. With this buy-back, H10 Hotels takes over ownership of the property and the management of both hotels, giving it 16 establishments in the Canary Islands on 5 islands (Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and La Palma).
The H10 Taburiente Playa is a four-star hotel located on the sea front, only 5 kilometres from the airport and the capital. Its installations feature 283 Rooms, 9 Suites, a broad culinary offer, 3 meeting rooms and comprehensive sports facilities that include swimming pools and a tennis court.
On the other hand, the H10 Costa Salinas is a 3-key aparthotel located next to the H10 Taburiente Playa, also standing on the sea front only 300 m away from the Beach of Los Cancajos. It offers 140 perfectly equipped apartments with salon, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, as well as a bar, restaurant and parking service, among other facilities.
With the purchase of these two establishments, H10 Hotels now has a portfolio of 37 hotels, consolidating its status as one of the leading Spanish hotel chains. Similarly, the chain is forging ahead with its international expansion in the main European capitals with the forthcoming opening of the H10 Berlin Ku’damm in March 2011, thus maintaining a constant renovation policy of its establishments.
