The H10 Salauris Palace, H10 Mediterranean Village, H10 Salou Princess and H10 Europa Park hotels were chosen for their high-quality services
Thomas Cook, one of the main European tour operators, has awarded its 2009 Marque of Excellence to the hotels H10 Mediterranean Village, H10 Salauris Palace, H10 Europa Park and H10 Salou Princess, all in the Costa Daurada region. These establishments, members of the H10 Hotels group, earned the award in recognition of their exacting standards of excellence in service and the quality of their recently renovated facilities.
This award is based on the opinions of customers of the tour operator Thomas Cook, making it one of the most prestigious prizes in Europe with regard to customer satisfaction. It was the hotels’ own guests who gave these H10 Hotels establishments such high ratings on the surveys, making the prize even more valuable.
Two of the award-winning hotels, the H10 Mediterranean Village and H10 Salauris Palace, are receiving the award for the second and third year in a row, respectively, thanks to the high quality standards they meet year after year.
The H10 Mediterranean Village, which has also won several internal customer satisfaction prizes, is one of the flagship family-oriented establishments in the Cap Salou region due to its proximity to the beach and extensive facilities, which range from pools and fully appointed rooms and apartments to an array of outstanding dining options, including a children’s buffet and the Sports Tavern pub.
The H10 Salauris Palace, which has also earned the prestigious Q Mark for Tourism Quality from the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute (ICTE), was already a beacon for holiday visitors to the Costa Daurada region. Its proximity to the beach, PortAventura and several golf courses, along with its varied offer of world-class cuisine, 351 comfortable rooms and myriad facilities, makes it the ideal hotel for a holiday with the kids.
As for the H10 Europa Park and H10 Salou Princess, these hotels have fully renovated their facilities in recent years. As a result, they recently earned their fourth star and have now received this prestigious award, too.
The H10 Europa Park completely renovated its rooms and public areas, as well as Restaurante Les Vinyes. The hotel now offers state-of-the-art technology, such as free WiFi Internet access in public areas, LCD flat-screen TVs in rooms and a new function room for meetings and private events.
The H10 Salou Princess has completely renovated public areas boasting a modern interior design, a new sunbathing area replete with an outdoor jacuzzi in the pool area and free WiFi Internet access in all public areas.
Separately, the H10 Playa Meloneras Palace, the chain’s establishment on Gran Canaria Island, was a finalist in the National Resort category in the second edition of the awards given each year by the prestigious international magazine Condé Nast Traveller. The publication chose the hotel, one of the area’s most prominent, for its wide range of services, outstanding staff and the meticulous care given to its facilities, which were recently renovated in a bright, avant-garde style.
These new prizes are cause for great satisfaction for the chain and are a recognition of its customer-oriented approach and up-to-the-minute facilities.
