Pilgrimages, the fair and summer festivities
Any time of year is good for spending a few days at one of our Marbella hotels and nearby. From early May until June the city burgeons with people who come from all around to take part in the pilgrimages, known as Romerías. At the fair held during the week of 11 June, the stalls and pavilions in the Fair Precinct are brimful with visitors. And with the better weather come the summer festivities, such as the Virgen del Carmen fiesta.
