H10 Salauris Palace, Salou - Cambrils

I would highly recommend this hotel, we stayed for five nights in September/October. The reception is very bright modern, reception staff a pleasure to deal with. Restaurant was very busy for breakfast, my only complaint is is for the hotel to have more toast stations as it's very busy. Pool was freezing in 29 degree heat but it has indoor pool which was also fab and heated, no inflatables is annoying for children as they'd like to have some fun with them but i understand it's for safety. Room cleaned every day, housekeeping staff were so lovely and friendly. Entertainment was fab, we are family of 2+2 (8 and 14) and they loved it, the girl who does kids entertainment is outstanding - great energy! my only gripe was bar staff were not friendly and the menu in the bar was hit and miss i couldn't figure out when it would be normal menu or just pizza offered so that was strange. We will def be back next year, loved it.

Excellent venue, great location, food was good at times. Hotel clean and well kept. Staff helpful and friendly would have a free kettle had to pay 4 euros per day to have one in room went out and bought own milk and teabags, etc.

My wife and I booked a 4 night break for a last munite get away with our 2 grown up sons. We could not have been happier with our choice of hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff. Reception staff were polite and always eager to help with our every request. The bar staff were also very attentive and the personalised service of drinks by the poolside was a lovely touch not seen in many 4star hotels!! A special mention to bar waiter Xavier Gomez. Xavier was a Ray of sunshine every day and always went out of his way to put every hotel guest first and make them feel as though they were his priority at that moment. Well done Xavier and the hotel management should be very proud to have you working for them. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and and we could not fault a thing. The restaurant staff were also very helpful. The quality of the food was outstanding and always hot. Great level of choice for breakfast and Dinner. (Our stay was half board so I can't comment on the lunch menu). The roof terrace was a lovely additional area that was accessible to over 16years only which was a lovely space with a jacuzzi if you wanted to be away for children. The pool was very clean but very cold but a welcome relief from the hot sun. Salou is a lovely place and this hotel is situated in a great place to explore the area. 15 minute walk fro. The beach through the town, and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance to try. The hotel is also situated within walking distance of Portavenetura for the thrill seekers looking for high adrenaline thrills. Fabulous hotel and fabulous staff. Would recommend to all and will be returning for a future visit. Thank you

Very nice hotel, lovely clean well decorated rooms with nice large shower. Hotel is well situated between the town and nearby beach and a 10 minute walk to Portaventura theme park & Caribe water park. Very helpful staff too. Would most definitely go back and stay again if I revisit salou.

What can i say......we had the best time at the H10 Salauris Palace. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the beach but far enough away from the very busy main areas of Salou. Nice and peaceful. The hotel entrance is very impressive from outside and inside. Our room was very nicely decorated and we were very impressed! Lovely balcony overlooking the pool. We even managed to watch the fireworks from our balcony which were on the beach as part of the closing ceremony of the annual Nits Daurades festival. We absolutely loved the pool!! My daughter hardly came up for air! Haha. We also loved the pool activities and dont take any notice of the previous review which said the pool was unusable during the games. Its absolute rubbish. They only used part of the pool and even the part that was being used you were never told that you couldn't swim in that part. Yes ok there were queues every day for the sunbeds but we never failed to get one even if we went out around 10am. Just a suggestion, could there be 1 member of staff who hangs around at 9am after the doors are opened and anyone they see putting towels on sunbeds and immediately going for breakfast tell them that its not allowed and if they dont listen put their towel in a basket. Im sure after a few days people would start getting the message. The food from the pool snack bar was delicious. My daughter loved the nachos and the pizza. We tried pretty much everything and it was all very tasty. Breakfast was fantastic. Pretty much everything you can think of for breakfast is available and they cater for all tastes. You can have something different every morning. Plus champagne for breakfast some days!!! Wow! First time we have experienced this. When on holiday why not! Haha. Evening meal again was fantastic. Again lots and lots of different choices. My daughter is very fussy but she always had lots on her plate and the puddings omg are to die for!!! We didn't really watch any of the evening entertainment. My daughter who is 8 was a bit old to be honest for the kids entertainment but we loved playing pool and just chilling out. On the friday evening we were amazed to see that at supper time the hotel had brought in a very talented woman to play the violin whilst we were eating supper. Omg this was amazing! She was super talented and my daughter loved every minute. She played some great familiar songs like Mamma mia, friends, coldplay! Just WOW!! All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only thing i would say is that we arrived very early in the morning 2am and we didnt have any water on us or food. We were very hungry after travelling pretty much all day the previous day. I asked the member of staff on reception if we could have some water and he said we had to go to the vending machine on the bottom floor. We didnt have any loose coins on us so we couldnt use the machines. It would have been nice if the hotel knows that guests are arriving early morning if they could provide a bottle of water each and something/anything to eat. We had an amazing stay here and are so happy we chose the H10 Salauris Palace! We miss you and the sunshine! Its rained every day since we have been back in Wales! Haha!
