H10 Ocean Dunas, Fuerteventura

Warm welcoming friendly staff right from arrival. Lovely spacious room with balcony. Excellent food in the restaurant. The Hotel was very quiet although right in the middle of everything. A few minutes from the beach and around 15 minutes to the harbour .

On arrival first impression was the hotel was clean and airy. We were met by Jonathan on reception who quickly checked us in and offered us some cava and an orange juice. Our room wasnt quite ready so we went and had a drink and some lunch in the bar area. When we returned back to reception our room was ready and cases had already been taken up for us which we were grateful of. We had a Superior room with a sea view and the views were indeed great overlooking the whole of Corralejo with Lanzarote in the distance. The room was spacious and clean and everything worked well. Our only issue was a set of drawers may have been useful in the room as we had to put some items on the shelf that ran behind the back of the bed though this was only a minor inconvenience. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very good standard. Breakfast was the usual holiday fayre and more than adequate to set you up for the day. We found the lunch menu ok and we were able to swap out our evening meal option with the lunch menu. The evening meals for us just seemed to lack something hence we ate out 3 times in the week we stayed there. Dont get me wrong everything was cooked perfectly well just found things didnt quite go together or were just a bit bland. As i say this is just our taste and i am sure other guests enjoyed their evening meals. I will say the staff were very helpful, ordered us a number of taxis and gave us advice etc and were keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The only other issue we had was that the pool area where the sunbeds were didnt appear to get cleaned down very often. I saw someone cleaning the pool debris out but there was a mark next to the steps we used to get in and out that was there all week. I also spilled some sun cream on the floor on the first day and te remnants of what i could clean up myself were still there on the last day of the stay. These gripes really are minor and we would be more than happy to stay at the hotel again but on a bed and breakfast basis.

Myself and my partner stayed for 11 nights at this hotel and would recommend this hotel to any adults wanting a relaxing holiday. This is our second stay at Ocean Dunas & happy to say we found no issues or major faults that would reduce our experience. This time we were in the rooms looking over the 'main drag' which meant we benefited from the sun on the balcony. We also had a fantastic view of the carnival parade. Any worries of hearing any noise from the main drag were alleviated as soon as we shut the patio door. The hotel is in the perfect location - a minute from the main drag & 2 minutes from the beach. All staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast food choice good. Pool was warm n plenty of sun loungers with only a few selfish folk putting towels on & not appearing until the afternoon.

Just had a week here & can only echo all the positive reviews. Wonderful calm hotel in a busy resort with a real classy feel to it. Spotlessly clean & all staff friendly & helpful particularly reception. Nice touches of check in drinks/toiletries in room/ robes etc. Only minor negative I would say is the breakfast could have been hotter - this has been commented on before & I think could easily be resolved with a microwave for those wanting to ensure a piping hot breakfast. We have stayed Corralejo last 3 years and so next year will be having a change of scene for our March holiday but will definitely look at H10 hotels as we felt it was a great standard. We had a fabulous week overall & if we were to come back to Corralejo 100% would be back at the Dunas.

A excellent pleasant and enjoyable stay on half board. Quiet, peacful and well located for the beach and the centre of Corralejo. We had room 213 on the second floor which was in a corner overlooking the pool, there are only two floors. A large room, plenty of space a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers. A large double shower cubicle and a large balcony with two loungers, table and two chairs which captured the sun most of the day and friendly greeting on arrival. A very good selection at breakfast. We liked the set up for the evening where you select your main course from the menu and pick your own starters and deserts. My wife has a fish allergy so selecting your main course decreases the risk of cross contamination with serving cutlery. We would like to thank the Maitre D Concello and all the hotel staff for there attention and hard work during our stay. Once they new about the allergy they always kept us informed of what food my wife should avoid even though there are descriptions above each item on display. I agree with others that the coffee/tea/hot water machines are a bit hit and miss at breakfast and were constantly being attended to. The pool area is nice and large and we never had an issue finding a sun bed at any time during the day. Drinks are available throughout the day and in the evening and reasonably priced. There is no entertainment but plenty to see and do in Corralejo. We had one issue with our shower which would leak constantly resulting in us having to soak up the water with floor towels. The sealant and door seals needed replacing and this was reported but not attended to during our stay. We had excellent weather and will look forward to returning next year.
